It seems the enthusiasm has worn off a bit.
This is hard work!
Hang in there! We are all in this together, and together we can make it.
It is so easy to have that enthusiasm and say you'll make the changes, but when it comes right down to it, it's hard.
When you mess up, you lose even more hope.
We are all human, and we make mistakes. Let's cheer each other on, and keep plugging along with what we are doing - or with what we know we need to be doing.
Even me - Miss Not Perfect - yesterday I wanted a Diet Coke SO bad! Oh my goodness! I wanted it, and it was calling to me from my basement! I resisted though. Had to get out of the house. Today I am so glad I didn't drink that.
This is all about baby steps. It is a lifestyle change. We will not go back to the way were were. We are changing who we are from the inside out.
You can do this! Do not get discouraged. Hang in there!

You totaly decribed my mood. I kind of lost my initial enthusiasm. I am still trying to do everything right, but it has been harder over last few days. Perhaps I need to believe I really could change my daily habits for good. The question that I have on my mind is: Will I - some day - loose interest in sweets, overeating and sedentary life style? Or am I going to feel "restricted" the rest of my life? I am really really hoping that eating healthy will become such a natural thing for me that I won't have to even think about it and that gym time becomes a treat to me. But will it happen?
But anyway: I AM NOT GIVING UP. I am going to get up right now and drink another glass of water. Cheers!
You know, I think to get to where you are satisfied with your weight and size, there are going to have to be things you need to sacrifice. Once you get to where you want to be, it's all about balance. So if you really want to eat a slice of cake, you promise yourself you'll walk an extra 20-30 minutes. But I think that once you have done all the hard work to get to where you are happy, it will all be apart of your life. You will be eating healthy. You will be exercising on a very regular basis.
You can't get the body you want and crave without working for it.
