Confession

I went to a party tonight.

I ate 2 bowls of chili - minus the cheese - and 2 pieces of garlic bread. Then I had a bowl of bananas with vanilla ice cream and home made chocolate syrup on top. No soda. Drank water.

This was the first taste of sugar I have had in a week. I have not even allowed myself a single taste. It has been hard!

However, at this party tonight, I remember what my dear friend Greasy Butterfly told me this week. If you are eating 6 meals a day, that is 42 meals a week. One of those meals is not going to hurt you if you go out of your boundaries a bit. And, she also allows herself one treat per week.

I have been doing fabulous with my eating and my drinking. No Diet Coke. No sugar. Doing all I am suppose to, plus exercised 2 times this week ... which is HUGE for me. (I have issues).

So, I just need each of you to understand that this is a process. It is balancing. Because of the way I ate this evening, I will not "splurge" the rest of the weekend, or this coming week. I will be very strict with myself, and hopefully make it to the gym a few more times.

This is a lifestyle change. Baby steps. I am repeating what I typed earlier today. Scroll down.

Oh ... for all the people who are completely refusing to get me their weight, measurements, and photos ... fine. It's mostly the people who I am the closest with anyway. I need you to write your weight down and measure yourself. I want a 2 week report on how much you have lost in pounds and inches. I also want a daily report sent to my email of how you did with your eating and drinking every day.
