Update

Dogbane Beetle is doing so awesome! She is doing such a great job going to the gym, cutting out coffee, and eating great ... except for the pastery after lunch, but she's trying. And, she hasn't been eating after 7:30 which is awesome! Keep it up!

Carpenter Bee is doing it!! She got 19 points yesterday! She ate so very well and walked for 30 minutes and did 100 sit ups. She did eat a dessert, but she is going to allow herself one sweet per week. Awesome job! We are so proud of you! Keep up the good work!

Butternut Woolly Worm is having a rough time. With going to school, working and being a wife and mom, she has found herself quite pressed for time in preparing food and doing healthy things. She had a very stressful couple of days, but has stayed strong in not eating sweets and drinking soda. Hang in there! You'll get back in your groove!

Inchworm is struggling. She didn't think it would be so hard to give up soda and sweets. She is limiting herself to one diet soda and one sweet, but is having a hard time with that. Any suggestions? Hang in there! You can do this!!

Treehopper as lost a total of 2 pounds!! Way to go! She is doing great with eating, exercising, water etc. The only struggle she has had is with leftover cake from family dinner on Sunday. We all know how that goes! Great job, Treehopper!! We are so proud of you!

This is hard. We need to remember that it really is a big change and it really is worth it. The exercise, water, protein, and meals are not too bad for me but the no sweets- AUGH! It's killing me. And I have four little ones that always want homemade cookies in their school lunches, etc., so the temptation is always there. I think taking it a step at a time is an excellent idea. I used to "reward" myself for surviving tough days by feasting on baked goods after the kids got to bed. I'm doing better with that but I'm having a hard time not having a treat after lunch. Hang in there everyone!

I too know what you are talking about, I too am sugar addict. But we can all make a change and treat ourselves with a healthier (but still yummy) treat like banana!
