Good Finds

So, I started using this back in June and July - and what a difference it made for me! I only used it for the first few weeks, and I didn't take as many as it said to. It really helped control my appetite (Hoodia) until my stomach shrunk down a little bit, and it kick started my metabolism (Green Tea). I saw them on sale today at Dan's for $4.99. They are usually $9.99. Dan's sales usually last until Tuesday. I may go pick me up another box or 2. It is 30 liquid pills. It really did help me, in my opinion.

Then, I was looking at protein drinks. There are so many out there and so many to choose from. I really spent a lot of time reading and comparing. The EAS drinks I had been using during the summer are $5.99 for 4 drinks. They have 20 grams of protein, but like 20-25 carbs. I found this at Dan's as well, for just under $19.00. It is a powder that you can mix with "your favorite drink". For one scoop of the powder, it only has 3 carbs and 26 grams of protein. I thought that was great. If you mix it with 1% milk, that adds 12 grams of carbs, which still is less than the 4 pack I had been buying. And this has 28 servings if you only use 1 scoop per time.
.
Speaking of milk ... if you are not drinking enough milk, you should be taking a calcium supplement, especially if you are a woman over the age of 26 - which is when your body starts to lose calcium. I really like the chocolate Viactive.
.
I also purchased some Lean Cuisine's as well. I thought you could find those pretty easily if you wanted to. I just wanted to tell you to be aware of labels. Even though it was a "Lean Cuisine" some of them had 47 g carbs. That is a lot! If you take the time to look, you can find ones that aren't quite as much. There were some with 17-29 g carbs.
.
Just be aware of what you are purchasing. Read the labels. Just because it's "diet" doesn't mean it is good for you or will help you reach your goal.
